21 LMS choir students competed Saturday, October 22nd in the Region 16 Vocal Auditions at Frenship Middle School. Ten (10) advanced to have the privilege of being in the All-Region Choir Clinic and Concert Saturday, October 29th at Lubbock Christian University. The Concert is at 5:00 p.m. in the McDonald-Moody Auditorium.

Levelland MS Varsity 7th & 8th Grade Varsity Treble Choir competed in the Region XVI University Interscholastic League (UIL) Middle School North Zone Concert and Sightreading Contest on March 31st at Estacado HS. They received a Sweepstakes award for earning Division I ratings (superior) in both concert and sightreading!
Mrs. Deborah Payne is the LMS Choir Director. Dr. Hye-Gyung Ji was the accompanist at the competition.
Middle School Varsity Treble Choir
The Texas Music Educators Association, Region 16, had their annual All-Region concert at Lubbock-Cooper Performing Arts Center on Saturday, January 23rd. The Middle School Vocal auditions were held at Evans MS in Lubbock on January 16th. Students who auditioned and were selected earned the privilege of participating in an all-day Clinic, followed by the concert.
Levelland MS Choir had 19 members auditioning with 7 selected.
