LIS students enjoy relaxed reading in the library.LIS students study with their parents. On Thursday, September 16 Levelland Intermediate School hosted their first Thursday Night Live of the 2010-2011 school year. At this monthly event, parents are invited to join their 4th or 5th grade child at the school and participate in a variety of activities. “This a great night for parents to read with their kids, let them take AR tests, get on a computer, or get help on homework from teachers on duty,” says LIS Principal Gary Bridges. Parents are then invited to attend a Parent Club meeting while children enjoy time in the library. Approximately 75 students and parents participated in the event.
