For twenty one days the kindergarten purple team students anticipated the arrival of baby chicks.  The students finally got to watch and enjoy the chicks hatching in the incubators.

Today, in Mrs. Dobson’s Kindergarten class, the students asked the LABC teachers what they wanted to be for Halloween. The students had fun gathering information, reporting the data, and graphing the results by using tally marks.  Can you believe most teachers wanted to be witches!

Each day Mrs. Dobson’s Kindergarten class goes to Learning Centers.  Learning Centers are the skills they have learned that week but made into a fun activity.  Here are our camping Learning Centers.

The smore game is yummy.  Roll the die and add that many marshmallows to your roasting stick.  Try not to burn your marshmallow by rolling the black square on the die.

South exemplary students of all ages are enjoying learning and using the new Notebooks that we received.  This mobile unit houses 24 wireless notebooks that students can use in the classroom at their desks.  Teachers are enjoying being able to use technology to enhance their curriculum and to make their lessons mean more to the students.
