We are full of PRIDE, YES we ARE!

The 2010-2011 Levelland Middle School Cheerleaders recently returned from a National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) Summer Cheer Camp.  The camp was held Raider Xtreme Gym in Lubbock and attracted 18 squads from surrounding area schools.

The LMS Cheer squad represented their school and community with pride and excellence.

The Squad came home with several honors including:

* 2 NCA Herkie Awards (team excellence and performance)

* NCA National Bid Winner (for further competitions)

* Spirit Stick Award (won on the first and final day of camp)

* 4 Superior Ribbons for NCA evaluations

* 4 Excellent Ribbons for NCA evaluations

Two of our LMS squad members, Haylee Jackson and Grace Stapleton were nominated by NCA staff members for All-American Cheerleader. Nominees are voted on based on their cheer skills, leadership skills, and overall cheer abilities. After All-American tryouts, Haylee Jackson was awarded a spot on the NCA All-American Cheer Team

LMS Cheerleaders for the 2010-2011 school year are:  Alex French, Grace Stapleton, Hannah Pompa, Haylee Jackson, Mitchel Godbolt and Olivia Riley. Sponsors are LMS teacher April Allison and LMS Principal Kenny Berry
