“Rachel’s Challenge” exists to inspire, equip and empower every person to create a permanent positive culture change in their school, business and community by starting a chain reaction of kindness and compassion.
This year, Rachel’s challenge has transitioned all middle schools from the Friends of Rachel (FOR) to the Chain Links club. It is a unique club that focuses on what students of their age are dealing with. Levelland MS students have formed a Chain Links Club.
They meet on Tuesday mornings from 8:00-8:30. Their “coach” is Sara Tucker, representative from FOR. Staff sponsors include Mrs. Cook, Mrs. Diaz, Mrs. Spears and Mrs. Payne.
They initiated a collection of donations to the Breedlove Foods, Inc., a non-profit humanitarian aid organization, in response to the Haiti earthquake crisis. Each $100 provides 2,167 servings of soup. The LMS Chain Links club gathered $156.00
